What is Showcase?
Showcase gives you a dedicated project page on StillsLab β just like the films and series already on the platform, but for your work. Short films, music videos, commercials, experimental pieces β if you shot it, you can share it.
Here's what the process looks like:
Submit your project in three simple steps. Add your title, release year, video link, and a short description. Credit your team β Director, Cinematographer, Colorist, and anyone else involved. You can even include technical specs like your camera, lenses, aspect ratio, and format.
Upload your best frames. Drag and drop up to 200 MB of stills from your project. Each frame can be up to 5 MB. Our AI-powered tagging (built on Google's Gemini) will automatically analyze and tag your images β or you can tag them manually if you prefer full control.
We review it. Every submission goes through our moderation team to keep the quality bar high and the platform spam-free. Once approved, your project goes live with its own page, and your frames become part of the StillsLab library.
Track How Your Work Performs
Once your project is live, you get access to Creator Insights β a personal analytics dashboard that shows you how your work is doing. Total views, saves, which public Labs feature your frames, and an activity graph over time. It's a clear picture of how the community is engaging with your work.
Why Supporter-Only?
Hosting high-resolution frames takes real server space, and moderating every submission takes real time. To keep this sustainable and spam-free, Showcase is available exclusively to our Supporters on Patreon ($5/month). Your support directly funds the storage, development, and moderation that makes this feature possible.
Even if you cancel later, your published projects stay live β we don't take your work down.
One More Thing
We built an honest disclosure system into the submission process. If your project uses AI-generated elements, you mark it. No AI, partially AI, fully AI β it's transparent, and it's required. We think that's important.
Ready?
If you've been making work and wondering where to put it β this is the place. Submit your project, get your frames in front of thousands of people who care about cinematography, and see how the community responds.
